Wrap It Up

Home, Food & Body, The Dressing Room

Muslin Wraps are an essential for mum and bub all year round.

Some of the many uses for a Muslin Wrap include:

  • Swaddling the little one
  • Pram cover
  • Pram liner
  • Cot mattress liner

When we were growing up they were generally a standard cloth in your basic white, blue or pink!

Let’s just say that has definitely changed! These celeb mum’s share their favourite printed wraps:

The Dressing Room team are in love with Sunday’s collection of printed Muslin Wraps. This Melbourne designer has created a hand printed wrap that is perfect for baby and nice enough for mum to also wear as a scarf (win-win)!

Soft and breathable, they are approx 120cm x 120cm made from 100% cotton with all printing eco-friendly. It’s hard to pick a favourite with 3 unique prints to choose from, which we MUST include have ALL been created by the designer!

Clockwise: Zig Zag (blue, pink & grey), Floral, Hour Glass (blue, pink & grey)

Great as a gift or simply for yourself πŸ™‚

You can shop them now at our GPO or Brunswick store, they will also soon be available online at our e-boutique!

A printed blazer is my must have trans-seasonal piece to fast track my wardrobe into the spring sunshine! A blazer is a girls best friend, instantly glamouring up any outfit and giving it that little bit of a tailored edge. For me it’s all about colours and floral prints as well as being adventurous in mixing up the two.

My favourite blazer this season would have to be the Quentin Blazer in the wallflower print ❀ ❀ ❀

Another one of my favourite styles at the moment is the peplum! I will be using peplum styles to change the silhouette of my look, from structured peplum styles in bright colours for a perfect weekend look to a loose peplum t-shirt paired with my favourite jeans for those lazy spring afternoons!

I LOVE the new ‘Camellia’ strapless peplum top, especially in the juicy melon!!

My favourite piece at the moment in my wardrobe would have to be my full length jumpsuit!! A jumpsuit is a wardrobe essential for any time of the year. I find I can wear mine in so many different ways. . . by itself of course or layered up with a top or a blazer. It’s an easy style to dress down for a day time look or dress up on the weekend with a pair of wedges.

Lia Silk Jumpsuit in Python

Every wardrobe needs a pair of fun wedges for the warmer months! I’ll be investing in the floral Tommy Wedges! For a print they are pretty neutral which means I will be able to wear them with almost any colour as well as clash them with other prints! For me, versatility is the key to a great wardrobe.

Sunny Side Up

Buyer's Edit, Fashion, The Dressing Room

Sun’s shining, prints are flowing . . . now that’s worth being excited about today!

A little fun and a little edgy!

We love the clashing of the thick bold stripe against the electric python print

(we’re completely accepting of clashing this season so go on, go for it)!

Now let’s not get carried away…there’s still a chill in the air, which calls for our trusted leather jacket.

Last but not least, YES OF COURSE . . . it’s not a great day unless we’re flat-forming through it.

Love the Hazel Flatforms? Shop them now from our buyer’s edit online or in store!

How We Wear It

Fashion, The Dressing Room

This winter is the season of prints!

One of our favourite printed pieces was the NADA top in the weave.

Susan wears the Nada top with the maxi Loki skirt and the ‘gold chain choker’ in ivory & cobalt.

The Nada top in weave is now on SALE at both GPO & Brunswick.

Don’t miss out πŸ˜‰
